This post-proficiency course is designed for English teachers who have already achieved a high level of proficiency and are eager to refine their skills further.
This program will focus on expanding your understanding of advanced language concepts and deepening your ability to foster critical thinking among your students.
Through interactive sessions and engaging discussions, you will explore current events, work with authentic materials, and develop innovative strategies to create meaningful learning experiences in the classroom.

In order to take this course, you should have a C2 certification or be able to prove to be of C2 level (in an interview).
The course consists of:
Two tutors, Gabriela Froes and Ricardo Barros;
18 sessions, a total of 27 hours of classes;
Online platform to keep register of writings, discussions, and to keep in touch with classmates
Lessons will be recorded and available for 1 week (7 days). After 7 days, the lessons are automatically deleted.
The groups will have no more than 16 (sixteen) students.

A computer (no cell phone or tablet!) connected to the internet and a webcam;
Broadband/high-speed internet.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This group is formed with a minimum of 6 (six) students. If fewer than 6 students register, the group will not be formed. If the course starts and students stop taking classes along the way, leaving fewer than 6 students in the group, we reserve the right to terminate the course unless the students who are still present have their fees adjusted.

I am an English teacher, English Literature teacher, and teacher trainer. I have a degree in English, an MA in English Literature, Cambridge FCE, CAE, and CPE certificates, Michigan ECPE, the three TKT modules, the TKT KAL module, a CELTA certificate and am finishing the DipTESOL. I've worked as a speaking examiner for Cambridge and Michigan and have been teaching preparatory courses for exams since 2005. I live and work in São José dos Campos, SP.
Ricardo Barros
English teacher and teacher trainer. I have a degree in History from Unicamp and hold the Cambridge CAE and CPE certificates, as well as the CELTA and Delta. I have been an oral examiner for Cambridge and a CELTA and Delta tutor and have been teaching courses for teachers for more than a decade. I live and work in Jundiaí, SP.
