A Guided Reading Course
with Gabriela Fróes & Rafael Ottati
This course is for those who love stories, enjoy discussing literature in English, and want to deepen their reading skills while expanding their vocabulary. Over the course of four months, we’ll read eight powerful short stories — each one carefully chosen to spark insight, emotion, cultural awareness, and connection.
Together, we will:
explore literary concepts like structure, narration, symbolism, voice, and character
learn about the historical and cultural context behind each story
develop advanced vocabulary and reading strategies
engage in rich, meaningful discussions in a welcoming group of fellow readers
You won’t be reading alone.
We support your reading journey from the start: you’ll receive vocabulary practice, guiding questions, and reflection prompts ahead of time. Then we meet live to share, analyze, and bring the story to life as a group.
