This course is designed to prepare you for the C1 Advanced exam (formerly known as CAE).
A C1 Advanced qualification is a high-level credential that demonstrates your language skills to employers and universities alike. With over 9,000 educational institutions, businesses, and government departments worldwide recognizing C1 Advanced as proof of high-level achievement in English, this qualification can significantly enhance your career prospects, especially for English teachers.
In addition to exam preparation, this course will emphasize the development of critical thinking skills through engaging discussions and analysis of relevant topics. The course consists of:
Up to 120 hours of classes, divided into 3 semesters (40 hours per semester);
Online platform to keep rgister of writings, homework, discussions and to keep in touch with classmates
One mock exam per semester (done in class);
Lessons will be recorded and available for 1 week (7 days). After 7 days, the lessons are automatically deleted.
The groups will have no more than 12 (twelve) students.

Course fees (2025)
One semester (40 hours / 20 classes): R$ 2000 or 6x R$ 333
Register in December 2024 and pay in up to 7 instalments of R$ 286 via boleto bancário
To take part in this course, you need:
A computer (no cell phone or tablet!) connected to the internet and a webcam;
Broadband/high-speed internet.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This group is formed with a minimum of 4 students. If fewer than 4 students register, the group will not be formed. If the course starts and students stop taking classes along the way, leaving fewer than 4 students in the group, I reserve the right to terminate the course unless the students who are still present have their fees adjusted.
The tutor
I am an English teacher, English Literature teacher, and teacher trainer. I have a degree in English, an MA in English Literature, Cambridge FCE, CAE, and CPE certificates, Michigan ECPE, the three TKT modules, the TKT KAL module, a CELTA certificate and am finishing the DipTESOL. I've worked as a speaking examiner for Cambridge and Michigan and have been teaching preparatory courses for exams since 2005. I live and work in São José dos Campos, SP.
