for Teachers

Are you a teacher who finds it challenging to practice your own speaking skills, especially if you work with very young learners or have limited opportunities to engage in conversation? This course is designed just for you.

Our goal is to help you become a confident Intermediate speaker and writer. By participating in this course, you will gain the skills to understand the main points of clear texts on familiar topics, navigate everyday situations while traveling, and produce simple, organized texts about subjects you know well.

This course can set you on the path toward even greater opportunities, including the B2 First exam, which is the next logical step in your language learning journey.

Join us and take this exciting step toward enhancing your teaching and communication skills!

The course consists of:

72 hours of classes, divided into two semesters of 36 hours each;
We will mainly focus on speaking/writing skills and a grammar revision;
We will have an online platform to keep register of writings, homework, discussions and to keep in touch with classmates;
Lessons will be recorded and available for 1 week (7 days). After 7 days, the lessons are automatically deleted.

The groups will have no more than 10 (ten) students.

Course material

I will provide all the course material each lesson.

Course fees (2025)

One semester (35 hours / 20 classes): R$ 1400 or 6 x R$ 233
Register in December 2024 and pay in up to 7 instalments of R$ 200 via boleto bancário

To take part in this course, you need:

A computer (no cell phone or tablet!) connected to the internet and a webcam;
Broadband/high-speed internet.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This group is formed with a minimum of 4 students. If fewer than 4 students register, the group will not be formed. If the course starts and students stop taking classes along the way, leaving fewer than 4 students in the group, I reserve the right to terminate the course unless the students who are still present have their fees adjusted.

The tutor

I am an English teacher, English Literature teacher, and teacher trainer. I have a degree in English, an MA in English Literature, Cambridge FCE, CAE, and CPE certificates, Michigan ECPE, the three TKT modules, the TKT KAL module, a CELTA certificate and am finishing the DipTESOL. I've worked as a speaking examiner for Cambridge and Michigan and have been teaching preparatory courses for exams since 2005. I live and work in São José dos Campos, SP.
